Em busca do segundo título em copas, Inglaterra e Argentina duelavam pelas quartas de final do Mundial de 1986, no México. Com dois gols de Diego Maradona, a Argentina avançou às semifinais. O segundo é considerado o mais belo gol de todas as copas: “El gol del siglo”.
